"I’m thrilled to finally celebrate the birth of our great nation in person with you at the 7th annual 4th of July Fireworks Festival at Almaden Lake Park! Ever since I took office, I’ve looked forward to enjoying the largest event of the year in District 10 with our residents. This community event couldn’t have come together without the grassroots efforts of our neighbors, as well as generous donations from the community and our sponsors. This patriotic and family-friendly event is a fun and exciting way to celebrate the United States of America. There is a lot of important event information on this page, so be sure you’re “in the know” by looking through everything. Former District 10 resident Craig Cutright with Devastating Pyrotechnics, along with longtime Almaden resident and volunteer extraordinaire Bob Vonderwerth, are once again producing the fantastic fireworks display. "
Without the generous donations of our sponsors and the community, this event would not happen. Your support ensures the event will be a success! We are partnering again this year with the Almaden Valley Women’s Club, a non-profit organization, making your contribution tax-deductible! You will receive a letter recognizing your contribution for tax purposes.

The date/time needed for volunteer work is listed next to the volunteer title. Please indicate what time frame you are available within the time that is needed for volunteers. America the Beautiful
O Beautiful for spacious skies,
For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain!
America! America! God shed His grace on thee,
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea!
O Beautiful for patriot dream
That sees beyond the years
Thine alabaster cities gleam,
Undimmed by human tears!
God Bless America
God bless America, land that I love.
Stand beside her, and guide her
Through the night with a light from above.
From the mountains, to the prairies,
To the oceans, white with foam.
God bless America, my home sweet home.
The Star-Spangled Banner (National Anthem)
Oh, say! can you see by the dawn's early light
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming;
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, through the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?
And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there:
Oh, say! does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?
